We happened to be in Vegas for the Craft Brewers Conference when we selected our New Zealand Hops for this year. You could say that we hit the jackpot with these lots of Nectaron & new to us Superdelic. Rare? One of a kind. So we got together with our plugs in the US & New Zealand to Double Down & Stack it all on Black. Snake Eyes!

Lady Luck pours a bright, cloudy yellow color with a small, lacing head. The aroma has notes of dried fruits and is strong. The flavor is dry, dried fruit notes, melon, and pineapple. Good feel. Overall, a strong, dry, and fruity IPA.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (10% clarity) medium yellow/orange color with a mild/moderate white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of tropical, orange, tangerine, stone, fruit, grape, and berries. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, tropical, grape, tangerine, berries and mango. Juicy and tropical and sweet OJ linger. (4.00)
Feel: Heavier body, carbonation, tropical and sweet. (3.75)
Compared to BlackStack Pseudoscience 6/2024: Pours identical. Milder aromas. Less citrus, orange, pineapple, white grape, mango. More blood orange, stonefruit, berries. Heavier and sweeter.
Compared to Drekker Boil 'em Mash 'em Stick 'em In A Stew 7/24: Pours similar, milder head. Stronger aromas. Less grapefruit and mango rind. More tropical pineapple and juicy orange. Less dank pine and rind. Sweeter and heavier.
Compared to BlackStack Claymation 8/24: Pours darker, clearer. Stronger aromas. More tropical and sweet stonefruit, grape, pineapple, melon. Less tart grapefruit, passionfruit, yeast. Sweeter and more tropical.
A new release with Nectaron and Superdelic hops. Getting a lot of sweet orange, grape, and stonefruit. Sweeter for 7.0%. A lot of overripe orange juic flavors. Overall, good stuff as usual from BlackStack. (Rating: 3.98)
