Served as a very deep-brown, virtually black beer with impressive tannish head. Great retention and modest lacing.
Smell shows strong notes of coffee and chocolate combined with the roasted malt.
Taste shows the coffee and chocolate flavors upfront with a nice light dryness at the finish.
Leaves a pleasant dry sensation in the mouth with good taste retention.
A well-made flavorful beer.
