Slightly darker foggy yellow than the base, still with no head.
Less prickly and tart than the base, it burns down the gullet without a specific pepper flavor. It's also got a sort of dusty quality to it, maybe like walnut, but I can't put my finger on it. I sometimes get a notion of V8 tomato.
Those last two elements make it not as quaffable as the base.
