Poured from 330mL bottle into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 12/12/23.
Appearance: the label calls this an unfiltered light lager, and I believe it. Color is a medium gold with rather a lot of haze, and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Not bad, although the head does not stick around very long.
Smell: malty with a light dash of citrusy hops, and perhaps a little light wet cardboard aroma. I bought this bottle at the brewery, so if it's oxidized, I certainly can't blame the distributor.
Taste: malty with a bit of citrusy, herbal hops, and again that oxidation. I feel like this flavor cannot be on purpose.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess. This part of the beer is actually good!
Overall: it's not the most awful beer I've tasted, but if there is not some kinda unintentional oxidation here, then this is a pretty misguided beer.
