On tap at Native Son Alehouse in Santa Ana, CA.
First and foremost, I wish that this was on cask - as it’s served pretty cold - but that’s ok. Smells like a Bitter should - Liverpool in a glass. Oh yeah, looks beautiful too. A lovely dark copper like Lily Luahana after getting her hair did. Taste is spot on for the style. Like eating Baja Fish tacos in Ensenada, it’s about as good as it gets.
This isn’t the type of beer that is supposed to blow you away, but it’s just a damn fine neighborhood beer to have at your local joint when you get done with whatever it is that you were doing.
Cheers.

On tap at Spokeasy Public House
A: Pours rich copper brown with a frothy tan head that settles to a thin layer and leaves some light lacing.
S: Malty goodness, toasty, roasty, dark fruit, a touch of char, earthy herbal notes, and dark sugar sweetness.
T: Roasty, toasty, a little coffee, hint of char, dark fruit, plum, cherry, and raisin, earthy herbal notes, rounded out with dark sugar sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Super happy to get to try this one. A little darker than I was expecting, but still quite tasty.
