Poured from a bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Light golden amber pour with thin fizzy white head. Better lacing than expected.
S: Tart and funky... oak, unripened fruits, and white wine. Bretty.
T/F: Follows the nose. Light grain backbone... tart without being overly sour. Strong barrel character... white wine for sure, light vinegar, green apple, and unripened summer fruit. Mild sweetness comes through but catty... sticky on the tongue. Light bodied with modest carbonation. The finish is more tart sticky green fruit.
O: This is a style you either love or hate... and I'm a big fan of what Tired Hands does. Fantastic stuff.

750 ml bottle poured into a teku
A- An incredibly clear golden amber with a two finger white head.
S- Sour, lemons, some funk, touch of pears/light fruits, oak.
T- Very sour upfront, lemons and hints of vinegar, outside of the sourness I’m getting pears, light fruits, some funk, and a lot of oak.
M- Smooth, dry, light body.
O- At first it is just a punch in the face with how sour it is, but after two or three sips you get these great fruity notes and a good amount of oak.

Pours a nearly clear pale-yellow, there is just a bit of fog to it. Head is 1 finger in height, and white in color. Aroma is green apple, pears, and oak. Nice mellow aroma, but clearly has a sour funk to it. Flavor profile is much more green apple than the aroma. Pears, oak, and raspberries add additional depth to it. Mouth feel is effervescent, fizzy, and frothy, within a medium-thin body. Overall, a funky, sour champagne-like beer. The sour notes in this cannot be understated, it is strong enough to induce a pucker, but tart and flavorful enough to be savory.
Served in a 12oz snifter from a 750mL bottle.
