their take on a west coast ipa, still a little hazy, but more unfiltered looking i guess, pretty well refined beer even with that though, its drier and lighter to drink than their no woman no cryo, and the ferment seems cleaner too, not that it was off in the other one, just that this sparkles a little more in the later stages, not a radically different hop profile here either, just more bitterness running through it and a little less of the up front cryo intensity, a nice beer overall and a definitely repeatable pint! i like the obvious citrus in the nose, tangerine and meyer lemon, along with some cut flowers, makes it kind of springy, and the grain is lighter than it looks here. the flavors follow the nose, citra driven but pretty bitter for citra on its own, there are likely others in the kettle. i like the aftertaste, appreciate the oily hops in the mouthfeel, thats where this really is most west coast, and the carbonation is excellent here where it lagged slightly in some of their other hoppy ones. solid overall ipa here, probably has the broadest appeal of the ones i tried here, nice and fresh at the source!

On tap.
Slightly cloudy golden orange. White head with lace.
Has some dank weedy notes. Grapefruit citrus and papaya. Bready malts. Well balanced. Some bitterness.

Relatively clear. Golden color. Small head and nearly no lace.
Wild flower aroma and then floral hop. Attractive.
Base amber malt start. The hop takes over quickly and dominates. Oddly, the aftertaste lingers lightly for a very long time.
