Notes: Luponic Chronic is GBC’s first West Coast Double IPA and as the name implies, it’s saturated with hops! A base of 2-row combined with Crystal and Caramalt malts lend this West Coast Double IPA a sturdy malt base to pack the Columbus, Simcoe, Idaho-7, and Strata hops in. This Double IPA bursts with pungent, dank, citrusy aromatics. It follows through with a piney bitterness complemented by a juicy, clean mouthfeel. Delightfully drinkable for an 8% IPA!

Pours mostly clear - a slight departure from the regular IPA offerings I've had from Girdwood brewing. Golden in color. Head retention is minimal. Nose is dank hops. At first taste it hits with the resinous hoppy punch and fades with a longer aftertaste of bitterness.
