Our head brewer, Julia, brewed pearl with the pink boots hops from this year, which give it citrus and stone fruit flavors as well as a slight hoppy herbal character. There is a clean malty backbone that balances those hop notes out.
We named this beer after one of the co-founders of Sturgis's motorcycle rally and the Jackpine Gypsies motorcycle club. She is often referred to as the "first lady of Sturgis".
Appearance: straw yellow, crystal clear
Aroma: cracker, biscuit malt, light citrus, stonefruit
Flavor: clean, balance, slight hop bite, light malty character, grapefruit, tangerine
Mouthfeel: dry, crisp, light body, high carbonation

Pours pale straw color and clear as day. Head is milky white and settles mildly quickly. 4
Aroma is full of cracker, biscuity malts, and some light and subtle citrus. 3.75
Very happy with how this turned out taste-wise. Ultra clean, hoppy and bright. Clear malt/hop balance and easy drinking. 4.25
Sharp and biting crisp carbo throughout and a fairly dry finish. 4
Overall I'm very happy this crowler is 32oz because this is a well done Pils that got it all right in my book. 4

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
