Typical lager character backs up lush tropical flavours along with aromas of citrus. Tropical fruit flavours from a blend of hops and natural mango & passionfruit create an easy-drinking fruit punch in a glass.

Pours fairly clear straw yellow with a smallish white head, no lacing. Aroma can only be described as foul, can't keep my nose to it long enough to give a description. Flavor is tolerable, some corn biscuit and malt, earthy hops. Feel is light bodied and well carbonated. Overall, not recommended.

Poured from an 11.2 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of mango, oranges. Taste follows the aroma, some passionfruit as well. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer and incredibly easy drinking.

330ml can. Bottom stamp is 'BU-1-1993'.
Clear, straw to pale gold colored body. One thin finger of white head but this becomes an island and bubble fed ring. Leaves behind scattered spots and short strings of lacing.
Aroma is mainly mango, with other tropical fruit plus honey malt.
Taste is sweet mango and tart passion fruit. After these fade a bit the base malt base comes out. Toasted and sweet malts along with a bit of floral hops. Aftertaste is sweet malt tinged with the fruits.
Medium mouthfeel. Seems to have a bit of sulfur/onion. Has a definite bitter bite to finish. Good carbonation.
Presents as a craft lager, and one with authentic fruit flavors.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a fine, half finger white head with great retention and slippery, solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, passion fruit and mango; as expected. Flavor is pale malt, light grassy hops, mango and passion fruit with some over-ripe character. Moderate hoppy finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. An interesting hybrid of European style lager and fruit beer. The malt is much more substantial than I expected and give great support to the fruit. The hopping is unexpected too, but equally appreciated. This is quite pleasant to drink and has a good flavor progression from malt to fruit and closing out with the hop bitterness. This was an unexpectedly fun to drink beer. I can imagine drinking this happily on a hot Vietnamese evening. Interesting brewery I'd like to try again.

Straw yellow, with a slight haze and lots of carbonation. Topped with two fingers of yellowish, foamy head. The smell is of mangoes, ripe mangoes, and hints of passion fruit. The taste follows the nose. It has a nice hoppy quality as well that makes it feel almost like an IPA. I got this in Phuket Thailand where I’m drinking at March 23, 2024.
