This was the best thing I sampled from the TBBC. A super-hoppy American I.P.A, the Wedding Celebration is named for the customer whose nuptuals resulted in this special ale, the brewing of which he was a witness to. Bless you, Mr. Stober.
A dark honey hue warns the buyer not of the big experience about to be enjoyed. Nothing else about this ale suggests moderation. Everything else is done up big!
Big chewy hop bite. Nice round mouthfilling malt. Full brawny mouthfeel. Strong alcohol warmth. Reminiscent of Stone's products, but not even as leaden, as the fresh keg made for a sharper attack. Not for session drinking, to be sure, but that must have been one excellent "celebration" if the wedding party was consuming this.
Get it while you can, and encourage the brewer to find more weddings to honor!
