Clear, orange-caramel in color with a good-sized white head with very good retention and lacing. Aroma is lightly pungent citric hops (compared to the other 3 IPA's I just drank), crisp water, distant sweet malts and a subtle yet very distinct jasmine blossom note. Mouthfeel is smooth and acidic, not as pungent as the Barleywine. Finish is very acidic, yet balanced more than the others with malt. Oaky astringency and alcohol in the aroma and dry finish. Interesting but not impressive.
