Average pints in TBBC are only $3, this one jumps to $4.5 – and it’s not close to being worth it. A clear, maghongy brown, no heading at all. Just some subtle notes of malt in the aroma.

The taste? An earthy, leathery and fairly harsh brew, not near enough malt for a proper balance. Medium bodied in the mouth, just too many downer points to make this a quaffer for any duration. N

Pizza and beer at TBBC. This was served in a nice heavy goblet. It was dark brown with a medium-sized coffee-colored head. It had a pleasant roasted grain odor to it. The taste was all about malts and hops. Very nice, quite drinkable. The rest of the crew also thought it to be a pretty good beer.
