Reviewed from notes. Poured from the 16 oz. can into a Brooklyn Brewing tulip glass.

A: Reddish pink and hazy, with quite a bit of visible carbonation. Forms a finger's worth of light pink head with pretty good retention.

S: Fruity, tart, with some Lactobacillus (I think) funk coming through. Raspberries, boysenberries, blackberries. Cracker malt body with a modest amount of husk. Lactic acid tartness amidst the mild cheesy and Lacto funk.

T: Lactic tart, raspberries and blackberries with mild underripe character. Still some musty funk – it’s not huge, but honestly I’m a bit surprised for how much there is. Cracker malt body, and there’s still a bit of grainy husk but much less than the nose. Dry lactic acid with more fading fruity sweetness at the swallow.

M: A nice light body. Low alcohol presence, average carbonation sensation for style.

O: Maybe I shouldn't be, but I’m really a bit surprised by just how tasty this is. I can’t recall a sour from them that I’ve had that impressed me like this. It’s not out of this world...this isn't DFPF...but for a beer bought from the shelf in a readily available can it’s really tasty. Tart but stays drinkable, fruity but balanced by the modest funk. Very well done.

Best sour ale brew I've had. Had the pleasure to drink it at the brewery in Tampa. Brewed using raspberries, blackberries and blueberries, creating a light well balanced easy drinking beer.

Has a pinkish hue, cloudy and big bubbled foam head. The head also has a slight pink color. The bubbles slowly pop themselves out into a think collar and cap.

Flavor is bright tart fruits. I'm leaning more towards blueberry after the first sip. Like the blueberries that need another day or two on the bush. They taste good, but still a bit tart.

Lightly sweet and crisp. This is a refreshing brew. Soft on the palate and a bit of a creaminess to the texture.

Overall, a well done berry sour. The fruit is not fake tasting, fresh and real. Very refreshing and easy to drink. Wish I cracked it open in the sun today, we had a last whisp of summer that quickly chilled off after the sun went down today.

Poured from a 16 oz. can into a Snorkel glass. Canned on 06/16/17

Appearance: A dark pink to rose colored body with a foamy white head that dissipates to a fine row of bubbles along the glass.

Aroma: Definitely tart to sour-ish with those berries coming through.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Tart up front with plenty of berry sweetness coming through at the end. This is such a refreshing beer it's hard not to chug this one down. Light mouthfeel with a delicious lingering berry juice and tartness.

Overall: This one is going to be just like The Last Days Of Summer for me...gonna be hard not to pick up a 4 pack every time I see it on the shelves! Refreshing, delicious and easy to drink! Sour and tart, but not mouth puckering to the point of undrinkability (is that a word?)

Beautiful pink-red hue in the glass, super fruity aroma, and tart berries in your face. I've been drinking this beer daily for weeks now, and it really hits the spot in the brutal Florida heat!

Pours a hazed & carbonated & blush/chablis color with one finger of eggshell colored head. Modeast head retention & lacing

S: Faint raspberry, tartness, a little bit of lemon

T: Tartness, rapspberry & lemon, plus dryness up front. Sourness & tartness dominate as this warms. Finishes tart, slightly sour with raspberry & lemon

MF: Light body, lively carbonation

Easy drinker, really hit the spot after roasting the Florida heat

From a can at the Burning Can Festival (NC).
Pours with a very durable pink-white head.
Florida Tart claims to be a fruity berliner weisse, and it delivers. As the aroma suggests, the flavor is very tart and fruity ale. Passionfruit? Well balanced and harmonious blend of fruit flavors. Fine, long lasting aftertaste.
