On tap at the brewpub where it was listed as "Double Red Eye Amber Ale".
Pours a lovely, deep red-amber color with an excellent, bone-colored head and spotty lacing.
Aroma hopped up red ale.
Flavor follows: a seemingly rich and lightly sweet red ale quickly turns hoppy and more than mildly bitter.
Feel: smooth but too much alcohol harshness.
O a bold red ale merged with a mild IPA.

While just popping into TBBC, this was a surprise to check out. This double red pours as a stunning dark amber with a mountain of a spumescent sticky head cap in a narrow tapered flute glass leaving a layer of foamy lace while rising bubbles create a virtual show. Sweet grainy candy aroma. First swigs are of deep carmel with malt muscle, raw husky grain, and guessin English hops that offer a bright hoppy dry brew with suggestions of cherry and warming vanilla. Full bodied with warming 9.0% ABV. Complex flavors and nearly clocking in with big barelywine properties. A total winner from TBBC.
