Incredibly thick frothy white head. Slowly collapses down to a thin half finger layer of foam. Beer is straw colored to light golden. Cloudy. Lots of sticky white lacing left on the glass.
Aroma is somewhat spicy with the Saaz hops featuring prominently up front before giving way to a melony fruitiness on the back end.
Taste is odd ... its quite sweet with strong overly ripe melon notes before giving way to a spicy hop finish. Personally the "imperial" aspect of this just made it veer towards a DIPA - sticky, sweet, and heavy. The hop array is interesting, but just doesn't quite work with the beer.
Feel is somewhat heavy, sticky, with vibrant prickly carbonation. Finish is somewhat semi-dry, mostly bitter.
Overall this is pretty meh. I like the hop combo - its interesting and unique, but the beer comes across too heavy and sweet.

16oz can - collaboration with Cigar City. Canned date of 03/09/18 printed on the bottom corner of the can. Solid nose and flavor with the crispness and spiciness of the hops that I have come to love in a good Pilsner. This is an Imperial Pilsner so it packs an extra punch compared to your lighter German and Czech pilsners.

Collab with Cigar City. A nice drinking beer overall. Would never know it’s 8%. A nice herbal/spice hop profile but could use more Pilsner malt in the flavor. Very clean.
