Shockingly pinkish-red brew, fairly translucent. Head production is decent, although it does not last long.
Musty and milky nose, slightly tart and fruity. Fairly classic Berliner Weisse profile. None of the added fruit translate strongly to the nose.
The palate tells a different story. Moderately tart and sour, somewhat musty, and quite fruity. Both lime and prickly pear show cleanly on the palate, in particular on the second third. Just a touch of sweetness to balance out the tart flavors. A little salty, in particular up front. Fruity tones are reminiscent of a watermelon Jolly Rancher.
Crisp and lively; a little sticky, and a little bit of pucker.
