Aroma: Dark chocolate & roasted coffee
Flavor: Full bodied, sweet chocolate, with subtle notes of sweet vanilla & coconut.
Brewed in collaboration with Michigan's Transient Artisan Ales this Extra Thick Imperial Stout weighs in at 11.8% ABV.
Pours a dark, dark brown with minimal head. Rich mouth feel without a lot of bitterness. Not overly boozy but packs a punch. Son in Tampa sent me a four-pack for the holidays. It will be a very merry Christmas.
