Poured a copper body with minimal head and lace patches. The aroma is rather like an IPA with citric and soapy hops and barely any malts. Mild caramel sweetness with a nice, citric hop bite and then finishes with a mild malty sweetness that balances the beer. Not a bad beer but a rather piddling barleywine that is a pass.
