Poured a deep orange, amber beer with a two finger creamy white head, nice retention and creamy rings of lace.
The aroma is very citrus. Orange zest and loads of grapefruit, hints of lemon and a nice background of bready malts, caramel and a touch of honey. Piney elements hint at a dry hopping.
Orange blossom honey undertows a light toast and bready bottom where orange zest and pungent grapefruit juice zing on top with a slight tart sting of lemon.
Medium bodied, zesty and balanced. Slightly tart.
Overall a very good double IPA.

Whenever I visit my daughter in Tampa, I make a trip to TBBC. This beer was listed as one of the seasonals. Served in sort of a dwarf pilsner glass, the beer was a dark amber color with a thick white head and plenty of lacing. It had a pronounced citrus aroma, and a strong taste of grapefruit. This was a quite hoppy beer, with a good lingering bitterness. I'll have it again before I leave Tampa.
