Had on tap at TBBC. Poured into a pint glass.
A: Deep tan appearance. One-finger head.
S: Smoky malty aroma, but the smokiness isn't overwhelming.
T: More roastiness to the malt character than I expected even from the aroma. The smoked flavor is present in the middle and tapers off.
M: Medium to slightly heavy body. Average carbonation.
O: Usually not a huge fan of smoked beers, but this one works pretty well for me. I think the biggest thing is that while the smokiness is there, it doesn't overwhelm every other flavor in the beer, which has been my experience with most others.
