Look - poured into a 10 oz tasting glass. Dark ruby red in color, cloudy, and extremely large head (three finger plus) that overflows from the glass,
Smell - grassy hops, and despite the look, not much tomato in the nose.
Taste - surprisingly clean. crisp malts, moderately-high hoppiness, and some grassy hop notes and light tartness in the finish.
Feel - light bodied, moderate carbonation, and relatively low ABV at 4.8%.
Overall - the concept is quite nice, but the tomato flavor doesn't really come through in neither the taste nor smell (aside from the light tartness), which is a bit of a disappointment. however, this is one of the more aggressively hopped beers I've had in Germany, and the flavor (even without the tomato) is decent.
