Good drinkable porter. The ingredients list and the name both hint that it's supposed to be smokey, and they used smoked maly, but there wasn't really any smoke flavors. Still, it had a lot of coffee notes. Dark black with a burnt head. A little hops taste but in a good way. I enjoyed it a lot. It was a smooth, drinkable beer.

Served as a sample at the Deep Creek Brewery. The color was a dark brown, with a slight tint of ruby red, and held a good head. The smell was very malty. The taste was very coffee-like, with a slight sweetness to it. The mouthfeel was very smooth. Drinkability-wise, I'd certainly have quite a few of these.
Along with the stout, this was my favorite beer from Deep Creek Hopefully this will become a year-round offering!
