This was offered in July, so I'm not sure it's still a seasonal, unless it's left over from March. It didn't taste old.
It was much maltier than lagers usually are, I liked that a lot. Had a good amber color, enough it could almost be a red. The hops and malt balavnce nicely, you get a good malt taste up front and then a lingering hops bitterness in the aftertaste. The aroma smelled very floral but you don't get any of that in the taste.
I'm not generally a lager fan, but this was very good. The name is cumbersome though. They should either tighten it up or change it entirely. Lakeside Lager, maybe?

Served as a sample at the Deep Creek Brewery. The color was dark amber, with slight head. The smell was a dry malty one. The taste was blandly dry. The mouthfeel was smooth, with good carbonation. I can't say I'd have another one.
Great Lakes' Eliot Ness sets the bar for the Vienna style. This didn't reach it, but that's not to say that this is a horrible beer..........just not one that defines the style.
