A cloudy hoppy pale ale with floral aromas brewed with Citra, Simcoe, and Cascade hops producing flavors of citrus and grapefruit. The addition of Keystone and Spelt malts provide an easy going mouthfeel. A beer designed to make any hour a happy one.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $3.49. Canned on 7/13/21, so this is 2 1/2 months old.
Look: Moderately hazy oragneish color with a 1/4 to 1/2 finger of fluffy off-white head and nice lacing.
Smell: Nicely aromatic with lots of citrus and tropical notes - lemon zest, grapefruit rind, and mango; secondary notes of papaya and melon. There is a grassy / green bell pepper note on the finish.
Taste: This is really delicious. From the nose, I was thinking that this may have been more sweet than it is. Fortunately, it is relatively dry and very refreshing. For a 4.5% ABV beer, this does not taste like a light beer as it has a good amount of flavor. The finish has a moderate bitterness of pithy lemon and grapefruit, also very peppery, that is quite nice.
Feel: The mouthfeel is nice - it's a bit soft and also has nice spritely carbonation.
Overall: This is my first Locust Lane beer, and it is sizing up quite well. I also think that this is one of the better New England-style pale ales that I have had.
