16 oz. can from the first week of December 2021
Gold beige murk. No floaties but a load of precipitate left in the bottom of the can. One finger fine white head, spotty lacing, full surface ring and islands.
Striking lemon peel, pineapple, piney like Simple Green aromas.
Citrus, big dank note, pine, pale malt, faint savory smoke flavors. Quite unique.
A good combination of hops, nicely bitter, no alcohol heat, good carbonation.
Enjoyable. Unusual but not fatiguing.

Hopped with Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado, and Ekuanot
Appearance: Arrives cloudy and goldenstraw colored with a thin cap; a few spots
Smell: Pithy aromatics dominate, with lemon and passionfruit; elements of papaya, berry and a hint of pineapple
Taste: Fruit forward with the papaya and berry; just a hint of pineapple adds some sweetness; somewhat dank, through the middle, with moderate pithy tones; the lemon and passionfruit wrap up the progression; relatively dry finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Interesting hop bill here; while the juiciness is restrained, for the style, the bitterness and dry finish are noteworthy

This is my favorite Charlotte IPA. Nice citrusy citra hop nose and taste, balanced by the malt. This brewery makes a number of very good IPAs and this is their best (so far).
