A: The beer is very hazy reddish yellow in color—too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that left a thin, small patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of strawberries and funk are present in the nose, the latter of which dissipates as the beer warms up.
T: The taste is somewhat sour and has light to moderate flavors of strawberries along with faint hints of red wine from the barrel aging.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this beer to be very pleasant, particularly since it exhibited aromas and flavors of strawberries, which aren't something that usually stand out in other beers that I've tried that have used this ingredient.
