Undated can into pint glass. Pours a murky light gold with a substantial and persistent off-white head. Decent lacing. Initial impression is grapefruit rind, orange, lime, and a touch of pine. Slightly sweet, but not off-putting. Mouthfeel is soft and thick - surprisingly so for a 6.5% IPA. Finish fades to a lingering citrus sweetness. Overall, this one is surprisingly good. My first from Resident Culture and I'm impressed.

On tap, pours a totally hazy yellow-orange. Smell and taste have tons of fruit and a bit of earthy dank. Tons of flavor and good feel at a reasonable ABV. Fantastic.

Appearance - Pours opaque yellow with a huge white head that settles to a nice rocky cap. Lots of sticky spotty lacing.

Aroma - Big sweet citrus aromas of mango, pineapple and melon. Light grapefruit with a touch of floral aromas coming through.

Taste - The flavor is not as sweet as I expected from the nose. The sweet tangerine and melon is mild but defiantly at the center of the show. There is a little bitter citrus peel on the finish but pretty much just a smooth tropical IPA.

Feel - Medium bodied carbonation is pretty prickly on the tongue. A very light dryness on the finish.

Overall - I was expecting a pretty sweet flavor based on the nose but was pleasantly surprised by the mild sweetness balanced with the light bitterness.
