473 ml can, from Left Field Beers, England. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, also notes of yellow stonefruits and papaya. Citric mouthfeel and flavour, notes of said fruits. Moderate bitterness.

6 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Is this what all-Citra IPAs have come to? If so, I am not a fan. It's decidedly mediocre. Some nice citrus and tropical fruit notes, but it's kind of thin and too sweet for the abv. YMMV.

No discernible canning date. Poured from 16 oz. can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours a hazy, honey-orange color with a substantial, foamy, eggshell-colored head and thick, soapy lacing. It smells of lemon, grapefruit, lime, pineapple, and floral hops. The taste favors the tart citrus but there is a hint of oaty sweetness in the background. I'm really not tasting the tropical fruit indicated by the smell. The mouth feel is moderately creamy with pleasant carbonation and the 6.5% ABV is not a distraction. Overall, based upon prior reviews and the BA rating I was expecting a more full-flavored ale and this is a bit one-dimensional. Still, it's a solid New England IPA.

This one pours a hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This is definitely a Citra bomb - drippy grapefruit, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and pineapple, and a bit of bitterness.
Citra single-hopped IPAs are kind of dime a dozen at this point, but that doesn't detract from the fact that this is pretty tasty stuff. It's got your classic grapefruit/orange/pineapple/general citrus build that most of these IPAs have, with a soft and clean bitterness. There's no real malt character.
This is soft, clean, and super drinkable, with a fluffy and nice body.
This isn't exactly unique anymore, but it's still a tasty little treat nonetheless.

A: Pours a lightly hazy bright yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow + pale orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of thick film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit zest + tropical/pineapple + tropical/mango hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + honey + oat malts with a light amount of honey-like sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + honey + oat malts with a light amount of honey-like sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit zest + tropical/pineapple + tropical/mango hops which impart a minimal amount of bitterness which fades away pretty quickly leaving moderate lingering citrus hop flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very pleasant soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable and really highlights the Citra hops.

Bright neon yellow body, white foam ring, lacing on the glass. Dank and grassy hops fill the nose, plus papaya, pineapple, lime and grapefruit. Taste has excellent hop bite up front and never really leaves, but the fruit is more muddled, mostly getting melon, papaya, and lime. Feel captures the hops and hazy juice, but not as refreshing as one might think, rather has more of a bite.
