16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, orange, pineapple and caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bite.

From the pint can, it pours a slightly hazy amber color with a nice just off white head that slowly reduces. The nose gets a dose of citrus. The mouth follows with an up front bitterness, followed by notes of citrus and pine and of course, malt. Mild bitterness in the aftertaste.

PKG 04/28/25. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Slightly hazy pale yellow with 1-2 finger white frothy head with good retention and several lines of lacing down the glass.
S: Aroma is dominated by citrus fruit including white grapefruit, lemon, lime, and tangerine. There is the slightest hint of pale malt in the background. Clean with minimal esters.
T: Flavor is excellent with grapefruit, lemon, lime, tangerine, and lemongrass with even lighter weed note. More pine resin and hefty bitterness that turns pithy in the finish.
M: Light-medium body with high carbonation and very clean, very dry finish.
O: Impressive WCIPA from Resident Culture. They should be able to sell a lot of this beer.

Can (no date, but I think 5/13 release)
Clear yellow with a loose foamy head that dissipates pretty quickly. Resinous leafy hop and citrus aromas over a bit of granola. Pine, grapefruit rind, tangerine, and weed...great clean West Coast hoppy dankness. Medium bodied, crisp, bitter. Nailed it...

A: Pours a clear pale yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate lemon yellow + very pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall fizzy sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a large patch of very slightly mottled pillowy medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit pith + herbal + pine/resin hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + grainy malts with a very light amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + grainy malts with a very light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit pith + herbal + pine/resin hops which impart a moderate amount of aggressive bitterness which slowly fades away leaving lingering citrus pith hop flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing. Light amounts of crispness upfront with a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a crisp + refreshing mouthfeel. Enjoyable with nice traditional West Coast hop flavors + aromas as well as aggressive bitterness. Definitely a throwback but I would gladly have a couple of these.
