Hazy Double IPA hopped with Pacific Sunrise, Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy, and Citra. This actually might be the most we’ve ever hopped an IPA! Notes of sticky hop resin and deep ripe tropical fruits.

Two fingers of rocky bubbles with mousse-like white dome; excellent cap retention; medium heavy lacing; hazy milky gold color. Nose is strong pineapple with grapefruit nipping at its heels. Taste follows nose; there’s some hop bitterness, but mostly semi sweet tropical fruit punch with some citrus slices added. Medium full body; moderate minus carbonation; mild hop burn; alcohol (9%) bite on tip of tongue. Overall, great can art; I don’t like the burn; the fruit flavors are good, but don’t play well with each other; good, but one and done.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of grapefruit are present in the nose along with notes of melon and hints of lemon.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the grapefruit flavors aren't nearly as prominent and there are also hints of peach. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy and sticky on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is definitely amped up with hops, which impart a lot of interesting and complex aromas and flavors to the smell and taste. It definitely tastes a bit strong, but for the most part the alcohol is well hidden from the taste.

Overall a well balanced beer and a nice NEIPA coming out of Charlotte, NC. It has a nice color and cloudiness to it. It has a very citrusy and floral nose. Taste follows it's nose with citrus up front and orange juice on the back end. Easy to drink. Fantastic can art. If it was available in my area, I would definitely be looking to pick this up again.
