A: Pours a murky dark raisin brown in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate chestnut brown + plum + dark ruby red colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy dark tan head that slowly reduces to a medium sized patch of mottled very thin film covering a little less than 30% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of tart/sweet raspberries + citrus/orange zest + citrus/tangerine along with light aromas of vanilla + cacao nibs. Light to moderate aromas of dark + slightly sour wheat malts with a light to moderate amount of tart lemon citrus lacto and a hint of lactose sweetness.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of dark + slightly sour wheat malts with a light to moderate amount of tart lemon citrus lacto and a hint of lactose sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of vanilla + cacao nibs. Finally there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of tart/sweet raspberries + citrus/orange zest + citrus/tangerine. There is a light to moderate amount of lingering berry tartness in the finish.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of acidic prickliness.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very refreshing tart + acidic mouthfeel. Enjoyable with quite a bit of complexity in the flavors (which you do not always see in these fruited kettle sours).
