A: Pours an opaque yet still clear thick viscous jet black in color with light amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and faint dark chestnut brown + dark cola brown + dark garnet red colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy dark tan head that reduces to large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering a little more than 85% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of sweet chocolate fudge brownie batter over the top of moderate aromas of roasted + chocolate + caramel malts with moderate to heavy amounts of lactose + caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of roasted + chocolate + caramel malts with moderate to heavy amounts of lactose + caramel sweetness. That is followed by strong flavors of sweet rich chocolate fudge brownie batter along with a light amount of briny saltiness. Minimal amounts of bitterness and no discernible hop presence.
M: Full bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Thick and smooth.
O: Definitely more of a slow sipper due to the over the top sweetness + chocolatiness and thick full mouthfeel. Excellent brownie flavors and aromas though a bit over the top. Still enjoyed it but it would be best shared after dinner.
