A hazy amber color. 1" off-white head with a good deal of lacing.
Fig, spice with a sweet malt background.
Fig and cinnamon taste. Nicely sweet.
Smooth, easy-drinking beer.
Well-done!

What a fine holiday find is this special brew at Steel Bender Brewing, Albuquerque. Reminiscent of Trois Pistoles, Maudite, Delirium Tremens and other Belgian ales but distinctly tasty and interesting. Rich smooth moutfeel. Had it on draft on my first visit to Steel Bender, and you know I will be back. And my girlfriend, usually a wine drinker, just loves this ale. Try it! Cheers!
