We reworked our Dunkel recipe a bit to up the influence of the dark side. Don’t be afraid though, this brew features big chocolate backing up an intense Munich malt character. Only Munich and Carafa malts were used in the grist before we boiled it all up with a few Noble hops. A long lagering and slow carbonation process results in a deliciously dark lager with a silky smooth mouthfeel. While not strictly traditional, this Dunkel is a brewers’ favorite already.
