Kings Fall is 6.2% abv, 65 ibu's. It's Czech Style, brewed in the tradition of the original great one from the town of Plzn. Ours is characterized by a blend of Czech Saaz and American Sterling hops.

After a long and hot day at Hot August Nights (name checks out), we stopped into this place for a couple beers and dessert. This is the location in Reno, the former Silver Peak brewery.
Pours industry standard dark golden, average clarity, thin 1/4" white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma really lacks the discernable Saaz hop or Czech quantity of said hops. While I'm here, malt content in the pilsner realm is also seemingly devoid.
The taste also reveals these quantities to be lacking. This might as well have been a blonde ale, it feels like it has that approach of going for something easy to drink but without the oomph. The mouthfeel was fine, would prefer more crisp and dry finish, but good enough to get through a pint. Its not likely to offend anyone.
I not only added this beer to this Next Glass owned database, but I generated the content for the first ever review of this beer here. I listed it as a German Pilsner, because unlike Untappd, there is only one pilsner designation here.
