Appearance: Pours a slightly cloudy (70% clarity) medium to dusky orange color with a hint of a brown hue. Large white head. SRM of 13.
Aroma: Strong aromas of coffee roast, some spices mixed within and hints of vanilla. Somewhat papery and grainy aromas.
Flavor: Moderate flavors of coffee roast bite upfront. Then some a spiced grain flavor in the middle that fades into a cinnamon and slight chili powder spiciness with pepper flavors. Finishes with more grains and a light vanilla note.
Feel: Medium to lighter bodied, decent carbonation. Crisp, lightly spicy mouthfeel.
Overall: An okay blonde ale here. This one has some coffee roast, spices, even some chili and pepper spiciness. Clean with hints of vanilla. I think this one just has a bit too much going on here. Coffee roast, mixed with pale malts and spices, cinnamon, chili pepper, and vanilla. Didn't hate it, but the flavors didn't blend very well.

Pours a nice golden color. Heavy on the carbonation. 3 finger slightly off white head. Decent retention, and some lacing on the glass.
The nose is full of coffee, I'm also getting a slight malty sweetness.
Taste - Lots of coffee, and there's a bit of vanilla mixed in as well. Some malty, bread, sweetness to it. There's also a hint of cinnamon.
The body is decent. A bit bubbly.
Not bad at all, but this is a beer I'd advise strongly against ageing, I can see it turning into a green pepper bomb if left sitting too long, as coffee beers tend to do.

Crowler. White head. Clear dark golden color.
The blend of coffee, vanilla, and cinnamon are great with this blonde ale. Super light and easy drinking, but full of flavor. Very fluffy and soft. Easy drinking and full of flavor. Glad Portage is back!
