Better together is a clear, West Coast IPA featuring Amarillo hops from Virgil Gamache Farms and Cashmere variety hops from Crosby Hops. This beer pours a beautiful straw color with a good amount of head. The nose is immediately submerged in flowery notes and hints of grapefruit zest, and orange peel. The palate is met with an expected hoppy West Coast flair, again with notes of grapefruit, orange, and pine.

A: pale to medium amber pour from a tall boy can; beautiful bright white head with good retention and some cling to the side of the glass; looks pretty great
S: Immediately piney and floral on the nose with a little bit of soapiness; a little deeper in the scent are some mango/tropical notes and some tangerine as well; a little too understated on the nose for the style imo
T: it’s really watery/lacking in malt backbone/complexity; it tastes like water with some floral hop and a bit of a bitterness at the end
M: mouthfeel is good - medium body with very lively carb
O: honestly, I dumped it — it was too watered down to be pleasant to drink. If it were a 3% session pale ale I would’ve said fair enough, but for a west coast ipa it’s a big disappointment.
