A: Pours a murky reddish/orange color. A minimal white head forms and recedes to nothing in a second. No lace is left behind.
S: Unfermented malt and really sweet. Sugary sweet, which I guess I could say is honey like if I tried. Though no wheat character, no esters, no yeast...just sweetness.
T: Like the nose really sweet. Honey for sure, and sugar. Cloying in that regard. Which is completely off for the style. Though still somewhat drinkable if you get past the style guidelines.
M/O: A medium body with muddled carbonation. That is surprisingly sticky and resiny. Certainly not crisp or vibrant in any way. With all this beers faults, it is still somewhat enjoyable for a bit. As far as finishing a pint, then I would probably put this as a one and done.
Don't know how this can be considered a Hefe in anyway shape or form. The color is that of an amber, no fruity esters, no wheat character. It is just kind of sweet with no other defining characteristic.
