Peanut Butter Stout

This is a straight-up Butterfingers bar in a glass. Poured from 12-ounce can into a tulip glass and allowed to warm a bit from fridge temperature. Lightproof deep blackish brown in color, with a couple of fingers of tan head that settled to a thin ring without leaving any lacing to speak of. Scrumptious aromas and flavors of chocolate and peanut butter dominate. There is a hint of char on the palate, along with a note of dried tart cherry. There is some bitterness and char lingering on the finish, along with a sour note. Rather light in body and high in carbonation. Overall, a very tasty offering. Recommended.
