I love it when a brewer follows up on his promises. This is a blueberry muffin in a glass, and that is by no means a bad thing. Poured from 12-ounce can into a weizen glass. Hazy, light burnished bronze in color, with a very subtle purplish tinge and a three-finger white head that settled to a thin ring after a few moments. Huge aromas and flavors of a fresh blueberry muffin take center stage, with the typical hefeweizen notes of banana and clove in the background. Quite light in body, maybe even a little on the watery side. Very low bitterness, not at all sweet, with a crisp finish and a little blueberry lingering on the palate. A very pleasant sipper, recommended (if you like blueberry muffins, that is).
