Pours a dark gold, light amber coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smell is dominated by tart plums with hints of vanilla and oak. Taste follows the nose, with a very nice tart plum character complemented nicely by light citrus notes and hints of vanilla, oak and herbs. Finishes with a light sweetness and mild acidity in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel wit a medium body and carbonation.
A very nice Saison with a medium sourness and lovely plum notes, complemented by a light barrel character. This is quite subtle, yet with a certain complexity.
