a unique sour ale here, not exactly a berliner type, but not fully wild either i dont reckon, probably a mixed fermentation thing, this edition is done with white peaches, its quite sour but very drinkable too, its delicate in a special way, really highly refined, all the beer here was great, these guys should be more hyped up! this has a light frosted look to it, pale yellow and frothy from the tap. the aroma is strong bacterial sourness but not monotone, more than just a lactic thing happening, a saison strain might be there too, some light funk from the peaches, the fruit is a touch sweet and quite juicy and very natural, more gentle and mild than a yellow peach would be here, not as sweet, a bit drier texturally, keeps this mellow and unforced. the sourness is a little bracing on the first sip, but i adjust to it quickly, as its kind of reversed from a lot of these in that the acidity is all up front and the fruit immediately comes in and balances it right out. light clean base to this, some wheat i would think, minimal body, high carbonation, lightly salty or something at the end, the peaches are so natural and well integrated, they sing. id love to try some other fruited versions of this, cherry, blackberry, wine grapes...
