Low impact bitterness, high impact aroma and flavor. Simcoe lays the hop foundation for this extremely delicious, flavorful and quaffable American India Pale Ale. Tropical citrus, orange and pine accents meld seamlessly.

I love the smell of this beer. It has a great flavor and is not heavy. It doesn’t have a strong aftertaste. It’s one of my favorite IPAs. Just really well done.

Clear, golden color. Medium-sized, white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, pine, and malt. Moderate sweetness with strong hoppy bitterness in taste. Mix of malt and hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste.

Look: Clear yellow with a medium white head that has nice retention. No lacing.
Smell: Very nice bitter hop aroma with a touch of sweet fruit.
Taste: Follows the nose but reversed. Sweet fruit upfront that is backed by mild bitterness. Very weak malty finish.
Feel: Medium in the mouth.
Overall: I’d prefer if this beer had a more bitter taste, but it’s fine. A solid enough option for sure. I prefer it over 3/4 of Revision’s NE hazies, but it’s still not a proper WC-IPA in my opinion.

On tap at the Pub Republic in Petaluma, CA.
The pour was a slightly hazy amber color topped with a weak head. Moderately strong piney hops in the nose. The flavor is more hop forward, slightly dank. There's a little bit of grassy hops with the dominant piney notes.

This beer is the new definition of what a west coast ipa should be. Smooth, clear, pungent with a slightly citrus finish. Recommend chilling one in the freezer for 10 mins prior to imbibing. Cheers!

Pours a clear golden orange with a finger of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine. Taste follows nose.

Appearance: Pours a clear, light golden color with a one finger, medium white foam head.
Aroma: Piney and floral with notes of citrus and caramel malts.
Taste: A fruity and floral balance up front. Piney in the middle with moderate bitterness. Has a malti background throughout the whole thing. Finishes clean.
Overall: This is definitely true to its name. Smooth enough to be drinkable, with a good flavor balance. No complaints here.

Light orange and amber look. Malted, mixed citrus peel aroma, with a full caramelized smell. Balanced, medium bodied, medium light toasted, caramel malt and easy, mixed citrus peel hop flavors, with not much bite. Finishes with mainly this citrus peel flavor.
