Crisp, clean and refreshing, Blonde NV is a golden-colored ale brewed in the silver state. Lightly hopped with a slight malt sweetness, this ale approaches lager territory in character and it's all good

12oz canned 9-17-20. Opened 11-14-20.
1 finger white head, decent retention and settles in at a solid cap.
Straw gold with very good clarity. No lacing.
Sweet malt perfume, honey and a hint of floral.
Easy flavors that follow the nose for the most part.
Made to style and has good drinkability.
Light body, medium carbonation with a quick and semi-sweet finish.
Good.

Here's one you don't see every day, a Revision beer that isn't an ipa! Somehow this showed up at March Madness 2023 and why not, you need those palate cleansers and walking beers that week.
Blonde ale pours blonde. The system works. Good clarity, 4/5" white head on the top. Can't lie, good looking. Aroma is grain and not much else, also sticking to the script.
Taste by the numbers, grain. 2 row. Neutral yeast. Minimal hopping, as was the style at the, uhm, style. No off flavors. Brewed to be what they want it to be, every tasting room needs one of these. Very light sense of sweetness to it. Effervescent carbonation to say the least. This is fine. Crushable, sure. There isn't much more to be said about a blonde ale, its pretty chill and respectable for your non nerd beer friends. Dang ranked in the top 300 blonde ales. I don't think anyone hates this beer at least. What ever happened to Jenna Elfman? She was hot in that Dharma & Greg show. This is our last goodbye.

Look: Clear yellow with a low-medium white head that has good retention and leaves excellent lacing.
Smell: Noticeable and inviting scent of bread and butter.
Taste: A lot of butter upfront with a faint touch of grassy hops following. A bready lager-esque malt comprises the finish.
Feel: Decent enough. Medium-high in the mouth.
Overall: One of the best American Blondes (beer, not woman) I’ve had in a long while. I’d be happy to drink this brew again.

Can pour- crystal clear pale yellow straw color with quickly dissipating white head leaving scattered lacing. Nose is muted malty sweetness with hints of floral hops. Taste follows more or less ,nothing exciting but easily quaffable. Plenty of carbonation with a finish on the dry side.

this is certainly not the kind of thing revision is known for, but they have totally won me over and i pretty much buy anything i see from them thats new to me, and yesterday that was a sixer of this simple blonde ale. with all the hoppy stuff they do, i could see how an easy drinker like this might be a necessary addition to their lineup for a little contrast, but i am not too impressed here. i find it a tad sweet, enough so that it diminishes the refreshment value, and while its relatively minimal on the fermentation side, its not quite as clean and brisk as i want it to be, especially on a hot summer day. sure its light in body, and the carbonation is there, but there is just nothing to get excited about here, almost a cream ale taste to it, some light herbal bittering hops at the end, and a thin white sugar element. perhaps i didnt quite have this cold enough when i got it home from the store and cracked one, i will not have this issue today when i go back to it, but this really didnt do a whole lot for me, especially for revision, i had much higher hops. perhaps this just isnt their thing, almost seems like an afterthought compared to so many of their clever and distinguished ipa types...

12 oz can from the Boise Co-op. Just finished Sierra Nevada's BFD, and this one is pretty lackluster in comparison.Pour is kind of dull, golden body with small head. Aroma is barely there grains and a little honey sweetness. taste is the same, so far down you have to look for it. And when you find it, its kind of disappointing. coming back around on this post-beer, perhaps I was bit too harsh. Nice creamy feel and solid grainy flavors.

On tap at Revision's taproom. Rating it for the style
Look: Golden yellow with 3/4 fingers of white frothy head. Head retention is medium for the style, though the lacing is quite good.
Smell: Smells of malt, matches the style.
Taste: Follows the nose and all your typical blonde ale flavors ate here. Flavor intensity, though, is quite good given the style. Very pleasant and crushable.
Feel: Slightly betrer than average for the style. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A very pleasant blonde ale. Perfect for extended drinking sessions.
