Hazy, yellow color. Medium-sized, white head. Grapefruit, resin, and malt in the aroma. Hoppy taste with juicy notes and decent bitterness. Not bad.

Canned on 8/14/2024. Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours a hazy, honey-orange color with a large, foamy, bright white head and thick, soapy lacing. On the nose is lemon, pineapple, ripe melon, and soft floral hops. Citra and Mosaic may be a tried and true combo but Revision did a nice job - lots of sweet red berry balances the lemon and grapefruit. The Amarillo hops provide nice spicy, flowery notes, which compensate for the lack of bitterness. It's very drinkable. The mouth feel is well-bodied with good carbonation, and it drinks big for 8% ABV. Overall, I'm not sure I agree with the name; there is nothing hidden here. Just a good, basic DIPA that is well-crafted.

Being visionaries when it comes to their beer, Revision Brewing isn't playing games with their magical and whimsical imperial strength hazy IPA.
Pastel with a golden taupe pour, Smoke & Mirrors soon crowns with a soapy white cap. As a highly floral scent of citrus, tropical fruit and grain sweetness abounds, its the perfume of fresh flower arrangements that nearly trigger allergy reactions. As its sweetness gravitates across the early palate, the softer side of haze shows itself with cereal, honey and shortcake.
And here come the hops as the floral upstart turns decidedly fruity with the hops of Citra, Mosaic and Amarillo bring a bright citrusy taste of tangerine, lime and red grapefruit before a racier tropical display of mango, passionfruit and kiwi. Not to be outdone, additional flavors of apricot, black currant and peach round out into a juicy honeydew refreshment. Trending balancing in its bitterness, a late show of green tea, spruce, fresh grass clipping and hemp add intrigue and drinkability.
Medium full in body, the beer carries a bold body until the finish where the taste dries and the textures tighten for an even-keel balance with a slight bitter lead. An aftertaste of fruit peels and curious herb are accompanied by a mild peppery and vodka-like warmth.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with a finger of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of tangerine and grapefruit. Taste follows nose.

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 7/17/20, so a month.
Looks good, pale orange juice colored body. Small white head retains well throughout leaving very good lacing.
Faint tropical fruit aromas on the nose.
On tasting, standard NE ipa taste. Good, but there is nothing here to separate it from many other beers in this style. Abv is very well hidden.
Mouth around medium, fruity and hoppy on the finish.
Overall, solid interpretation of the style, tastes good, but nothing spectacular here.

16oz canned on 7/10 and cracked two weeks later; pours that familiar sun-burst orange color, fully hazy and topped with a creamy white head that laces well; bright, vibrant notes of orange and tangy citrus zest dominate the nose and palate; sweet grapefruit/pink grapefruit as well; floral and herbal notes poke through; sweet and drinkable as well at 8%+, this is a beautiful brew with invisible booze. Revision brews can tend to taste like each other but this one stands out for me, just lovely.

another winner from revision, this one still tasting amazing even though the can isnt even all that fresh, which i guess is just another indicator of the quality level these guys are at, although i wish the grocery store would keep some fresher product in, who knows what the full potential of this one is. its a pretty beer, real pale orange, a nice rising white head, no real sediment to it and just a soft haziness, still sort of lit up looking in the glass, uniform and mellow. it smells like citra first, but overall a familiar combination of hops, maybe just a touch green like the pellets themselves, but real appealing too, with melon and meyer lemon and tangerine all swirling around, the aroma filled my kitchen when i popped the can. it tastes nice too, not as distinct as some in terms of hop profile, but the beer tastes fresher than it says it is, and i get light coconut and lemongrass to go with all the obvious citrus. very little alcohol here for its strength, and this drinks soft and easy, even refreshing. the grain is minimal but i get a slight honey sweet and floral aspect to it, well behind the hops. great carbonation here this one really pops and sings, even though the head doesnt last a real long time, it stays lively until the end. a little pricey for the four pack, but revision has earned the right to charge that for their beer, always a treat. this is a banger, a great combination of popular hop varietals and super clean overall. well done!

30th review. 1st from Revision.
a) Slight haze only on a straw body with classic climbing lace.
s) too faint.
t) abundant. Honey, biscuit, oat, and a bit of dank.
f) Smooth, easy, crisp, inviting, ticklish, fluffy, dry finish.
o) Complex and interesting flavors lift this one. Try 12.
