Canned 3/20/18.
Look: Pours dark murky yellow, with apparent haze. About a fingers worth of head on a simple pour. Generous amounts of residual glass lacing.
Smell: Vibrant orange, lemon and grapefruit, with some pineapple, mango, papaya and passionfruit. A little bit of some peach and apricot in there as well. Hop smell is noted but muted.
Taste: Follows the nose, and it is damn tasty. Bursting with citrus and tropical fruits, with a nice earthy/grassy hop flavor. Alot of lemon, pineapple, grapefruit and orange in the taste, with some sweet peach afterflavors. There is an ever so slight bitterness to the beer, which compliments the juiciness. Very nice, with no evidence of the 8.5 abv. As I drink it more, the hop presence becomes a bit more pronounced, but I am still very much enjoying it.
Feel: Medium in both body and weight. Carbonation levels are moderate. The beer has a nice creamy feel to it, which makes it very easy to drink.
Overall: Despite the age on this beer, I am really loving this one. There are some floaters as I turn the can right side up (as expected), but they almost make the beer taste sweeter. Anyways, this is another stellar offering from Revision. I am really enjoying it. I am grateful to have tried, and think it's worth your while. Cheers!

Canned 3/20/18, consumed 3/27/18
Poured cloudy, hazy straw color with a small head that left really terrific lacing.
Aroma is bright tropical, stone, and citrus fruits. Smooth and inviting.
Taste has all the fruitiness of the aroma, very soft and smooth. Some danky and floral hops notes to a much lesser extent.
Mouthfeel is medium, restrained bitterness, low carbonation - for a DIPA, this is soft, smooth and easy.
Overall, another great NEIPA style brew from Revision. Trying so many other brews of this style from many of the breweries out West just reinforces how refined and well-crafted Revision's offerings are. You really can't go wrong with any IPA or DIPA coming out of Revision.
