Pours a midnight black color with a one and half finger shaded head.
Smells of milk chocolate some toffee like notes as well.
Taste is very chocolatey, some coffee notes, very light bourbony flavor in the distance as well. Some nutty notes, almond maybe....
Very enjoyable.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a fine, half finger khaki head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of dark toasted and dry biscuit malt, milk chocolate and vanilla; simple but appealing. Flavor is dark toasted malt, mild lactose, milk and dark chocolate and vanilla with long lingering bright chocolate in the finish. Medium bodied with moderate to rich creaminess, outstanding mouth feel. This is a beautiful stout. The body is great, creamy like a freshly mixed milk shake. Malt and chocolate well balanced and the chocolate flavor is quite authentic; I would have thought there was real chocolate in this. ABV dangerously well covered. Outstanding and recommended.

On tap in Sacramento, pours a rich dark chocolate brown almost black with quickly dissipating slightly frothy light brown head. Nose is roasty toasty chocolatey sweetness. Taste follows with a smooth almost creamy finish. Not even a hint of alcohol.Dangerously easy to drink. Outstanding.

L: Poured black with a very small off-white/light sand head that left nice bands of lacing. Not really a thick or oily look - closer to a dark IPA.
S: Rich, sweet, toasty malts with some chocolate notes.
T: Follows aroma but a bit more flavorful, sweet milk stout with chocolate. Don't really get a lot of coffee, but whatever this is just delicious as it is.
F: Medium, smooth, creamy. No way at all to the the high-ABV here. I was a bit worried about it being thin from the look, but there is a nice richness and heft to it.
O: Wow really an outstanding milk stout. First Revision Stout I've tried and it's a keeper. I love non-barrel aged stouts more than BBA ones, and this ranks among the best.
