Collaboration with Koholā Brewery
There’s nothing quite like hangin’ in Hawai‘i. Dig the island vibe while crushing a cold one. *Owyhee is an older English spelling of Hawai’i used in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It is found in the names of certain locations in the American part of the Pacific Northwest, which were explored and mapped by expeditions whose members included native Hawaiians. It’s also a new beer in collaboration with our friends at Koholā Brewery in Lahaina, Maui. Citra, Mosaic and a dash of Simcoe add fruity hop flavors perfect for a beer on the beach. Or just daydreaming about it.

Illegible canning date
Pours a mango juice yellow/orange with a 1F sandy head
Subtle tropical head with some floral hops, gave off a bit of dank pine
Slightly bitter hops, rounded out with some nice tropical fruit, big bread and maltiness follows
Solid medium filling body
Not my favorite from Revision surprisingly, I'm usually not disappointed by their beers, but this one felt subpar for how good I feel like they normally are. Certainly surprised by how highly it's rated.

Canned date 02/03/21
Appearance - Pours murky and orange in color with a white, near finger width head. Fair retention before dying to a thin, broken layer of suds across the top.
Smell - Aroma hits on pineapple, orange and grapefruit. A bit of fresh leaf as well.
Taste - Follows the nose. Hits on notes of orange, pineapple and lesser white grapefruit upfront before a touch of mango mid-taste. Light, bready malt backbone. Finish lingers with a hint of pith bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a semi-dry finish.
Overall - Tasty, easy drinking hazy. Falls in line with a lot of the Revision hazy drops though,

16oz canned early February, poured into a nonic.
A: Pure golden haze; mostly opaque with a finger of fluffy head that laces ok.
S: Bright tropical fruit and citrus, coconut, dank, tangerine, mango, sweetness, zingy. Really nice.
T: Follows the nose well, with pithy orange juice and mango juice, mild pineapple, some blueberry and dank greenness, with a nice present bitterness and some malt sweetness.
MF: Fluffy, creamy, light body.
O: Definitely nice tropical fruit character in this one. One of the better Revision offerings I would say.

citra mosaic and simcoe again teaming up, i feel like i have tasted this beer a million times before, and while i like it, its so samey, which is not common with these guys, a little bit annoyingly familiar, but its hard to argue the quality, which is pretty much always the case with these guys, just real well done. very hazy, thick and a bit dull toned from the tap, but plenty lively in terms of head, lace, and carbonation, all of which pop. it smells and taste like more citra and mosaic than simcoe, meyer lemon and canned pineapple and a hint of coconut candy, maybe a flash of tangerine too, its nice, with some grapefruit bitterness and a hint of danky pine only coming in late, and as it warms. its fuller bodied, but i cant really taste much grain here, more hop oils than residual malt character in the later stages, relatively clean ferment which helps with drinkablility, but still some hop linger here on the swallow. its tasty beer, no denying, but i have come to expect something a little bit original when i have revision beers too, and this really doesnt deliver that. i had higher hopes for the hops, especially with the unique collaboration...

16 oz can from Long's.What can you say about hazies without sounding repetitive? Hazy, pale. Fruity, citrus peel aroma.taste brings in some light tropical notes to the bitter citrus flavors. Juicy for sure.

Wow this was most excellent. Will have to see out more beers from both Revision and Kohola. Pours a fantastic looking yellow-orange hazy juicy color with some white head and glorious rings of lingering lacing that lasted throughout. Really great appearance. Smells of sweet ripe fruit - papaya, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, passionfruit, guava. Also malt, more faint floral hops, vanilla. Taste follows the nose, well balanced, juicy, a little dank, just would have liked a little more forward hops. Malt was a little stronger - maybe from aging? Juicy, sticky, fairly soft, smooth mouthfeel and good carbonation. A very enjoyable one!

This is a beach sipper. That's for sure. Hazy and yellow like a Dole pineapple. Nose of pineapple, lime, kiwifruit, grapefruit rind and pine. Banana! Light malts. A very hazy affair. The bitterness has a lasting zing that I like. Mouthfeel is punchy. This Is a fun ale!
