Can poured into a Russian River Brewing Co pint glass

A: Pours hazy deep golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.

S: Tropical fruit and citrus, pine, spicy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Citrus, grapefruit, lemon, and orange, pine, a tropical fruit, papaya peach, and mango, spicy herbal notes, biscuity slightly bready malt, and caramel sweetness, with a little alcohol poking through as it warms.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, somewhat soft on the palate.

O: Neat to see CTZ in a NEIPA. Not bad, but not my favorite from Revision.

On tap Belmont Station today.

The beer pours a lightly hazed golden amber color with good hrad retention and lacing. The nose is mostly juice, but with underlying tropical fruit and dank earth as well. The flavor profile replicates the nose, but with a touch of heat from the alcohol on the finish. Otherwise, this beer delivers a lot of flavor, and the alcohol isn't too noticeable otherwise. Mouthfeel is fairly full, and the finish is long with a touch of heat.

Decent NE style dipa, though I wouldn't call this one of Revisions stronger efforts. Not sure this is something I need to order again any time soon.

Canned 11/29/18

Appearance - Pours hazy and mellow orange with quite a bit of sediment floating about. Off-white, half-finger width head. Fair retention results in a thin, broken layer of suds with a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Not much for lacing aside from some broken lines and spotting.

Smell - Lots of natural grapefruit aroma on the aroma with hints of orange and faint dank.

Taste - Very citrusy and with good amount of juiciness of orange and especially white grapefruit; lesser mango and pineapple. Faint dank near the finish. Aftertaste is mild grapefruit essence.

Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slic, easy drinker with a touch of dryness in the finish.

Overall - Another great Revision hazy offering, but the core flavor doesn't change much from their many hazy canned offerings. Hard for me to give this a big overall score when it feels like a cash grab rather than something truly unique. By all means if you love Revision's hazy offerings and just looking to quench that thirst this will do it, but if you're hoping for a new take on their hazy line, don't bother. Love Revision, but at some point I'd hope they just stick to a core group of rotating hazy brews.

Another seriously competent hazy DIPA from Revision. Looks, tastes and feels like the style. Blah.blah .blah... not a whole lot more to say other than if you like this style, do not hesitate to enjoy this beer. Quite good.

Solid, easy drinking DIPA hazy, but on the lower end of Revision's vast hazy lineup. Aroma was a quite muted, overall fruity but lighter than I'd like.
